This program, "Ebola Response Guidelines for Alabama's First Responders", discusses how The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS), has worked in conjunction with the Alabama Emergency Management Agency (AEMA), the Alabama Trauma Communication Center (ATCC) and 9-1-1 representatives to develop a protocol for suspected Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) cases. Program faculty discuss the protocol to screen for suspected EVD cases, including Alabama's Ebola First Responder Guidelines.

The health care industry has developed a process known as reverse distribution to return some of the unused pharmaceuticals to specialized brokers for management - which includes a monetary credit. Effective January 1, 2015, the reverse distributor for ADPH will be EXP Pharmaceuticals Corporation. This in-service program is specifically targeted to the ADPH workforce who participates in the process of returning pharmaceutical supplies.

This program, "Syphilis Management for Clinicians", discusses syphilis, also known as the “great imitator” and how it is a highly contagious disease during its primary and secondary stages.
