Workforce Development

The Alabama Department of Public Health Workforce Development Program is dedicated to creating a learning culture that provides our employees the opportunity to develop personally and professionally by offering training programs and initiatives designed to aid in delivering high-quality, appropriate public health services. As a result of this, the department has adopted a Workforce Development (WFD) Plan.

The greatest assets within ADPH are its employees; therefore, we want to devote the necessary resources to ensure that they are continually progressing and growing with the dynamics of the industry.
