The Tuscaloosa County Health Department offers clinical, home health and environmental services to the public.
Certified copies of birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates may be obtained from the health department.
Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Vital Records office is open 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
2015 Drive-thru Flu Clinic
The Tuscaloosa County Health Department will host a drive-thru seasonal flu vaccination clinic on Tuesday, October 27, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until supplies are exhausted. The clinic will be held outside of the Belk Activity Center at Bower's Park Complex. In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will take place inside the Belk Center.
No appointment is necessary. The seasonal flu vaccination is free if you have Medicaid, Medicare-Part B or Blue Cross/Blue Shield. You must present your card at time of vaccination. Cost is $10.00 for all others. Pneumococcal vaccination is available for $5.00. For more information, call (205) 562-6900.
