The Managed Care Compliance office certifies and regulates utilization review agents conducting utilization review activities in Alabama. We want to assure that utilization review agents adhere to reasonable standards. Our purpose is to ensure that utilization review agents maintain the confidentiality of medical records in accordance with applicable laws. We promote greater coordination and cooperation between health care providers and utilization review agents by providing an updated list of Utilization Review Agents on this website.
