Southeast Alabama EMS Council, Inc. Continuing Education Offerings

Southeast Alabama EMS Council, Inc. (SEAEMS) is offering continuing education opportunities in 2013.  SEAEMS covers Alabama EMS Region Five which includes the following counties:  Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Coffee, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Elmore, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, and Russell.

If you have questions or need to register for any of the available classes, please contact Margie Cole at the SEAEMS Regional Office by phone (334) 793-7789 or email.  All the courses will be taught at the SEAEMS Office, 2323 W. Main Street, Suite 217, Dothan, Alabama 36301 (map) unless otherwise stated.  All classes are subject to change.  Changes will be posted on the SEAEMS website so please verify the course information regularly.

SEAEMS Educational Course Schedule

Please email Margie Cole for more information about the following training opportunities.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Refresher will be held at the SEAEMS Office, 2323 West Main Street, Suite 223, Dothan, Alabama 36301 (map). Each class will be taught from 1:30-5:00 p.m. on March 6, April 10, May 8, and June 19, 2014

Stroke System Training will be held at the SEAEMS office at 1:30 p.m. on March 10, April 9, May 7, and June 4, 2014.

Protocol Training will be held at the SEAEMS office at 1:30 p.m. on March 25, April 25, May 23, and June 20, 2014.

EMSP Refresher Course will be held at the SEAEMS office on April 19 and April 26, 2014.

International Trauma Life Support Provider Course will be held April 12-13, 2014. Registration fee is $150.00 which includes the textbook.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Refresher will be held 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 14 and May 10, 2014. Registration fee is $75.00

Courses offered at Dothan Fire Department

A CPR Refresher Courses for Medical Personnel will be offered at Dothan Fire Department, 401 Westgate Parkway, Dothan, Alabama 36303 (map).  The class will be taught from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on March 27, April 24, May 22, and June 26, 2014.  To register for these courses, please email Sean Gibson.
