The Quality Management section manages the quality assurance for BCL and the Alabama County Health Department Laboratory Systems (ACHDLS) for compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988.

Quality Management ensures BCL has an established Quality Assessment Plan.The Quality Management Office also disseminates training opportunities to BCL personnel and compiles monthly quality assurance data and quarterly reports.
