Alabama Trends
Alabama’s positivity rate by age is consistent with national disease trends. The age groups most affected by chlamydia and gonorrhea are 15-19 year olds and 20-24 year olds. The rate appears to decline after 26 years of age, a pattern that has remained consistent throughout the last five years.

Additional data on STD rates by age, gender, and geographic location are found in CDC's annual Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance Report.
